Responsibility.

MATTHEW 20:23

“Are ye able to drink of the cup; that I shall drink of?”

Interesting question, isn’t it? What is Jesus saying? Jesus had a responsibility that he was to achieve, when he landed on earth. He was to do; the will of God. He was not to stray from his calling, and shuck his responsibility - to bring humanity the truth, and to die as; The Passover Lamb. Jesus mandate was; his cup.

Many claim to be able to drink; the cup. But how many are in the trenches everyday with God, achieving for; the Kingdom of God? How many have laid down their agenda, to pick up their cross and to obey the mandate of God; on their life?

This is something, we must all ponder. Let us ask ourselves, and most importantly God; if we are doing what we should in life – for him, and others.

It is not too late, to begin again.

What distractions have you allowed to creep into your life; and take you from your course of fulfilling your Kingdom Assignment?
