MICAH 6:8

"And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, 13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this day for thy good? 14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the Lord's thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is."

ISAIAH 1:19-20

“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: 20 But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.”

Many in our nations are confused about Grace. People think they know the answer, but are unsure - as the masses try to resolve this ongoing question. Grace is simply, the person and cross of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the Son of God that gave his life to be destroyed, in order for his blood to remit our sins, and to bring us into a relationship with Almighty God. When the obedient and faithful die, the Lord will then receive them into Heaven.

Sin has always been the issue and God has always required blood shed for sin. In the Old Testament - Works were done, under the direction of God via Moses and Aaron. There was a life erected by God, for all to follow and keep. There were daily blood sacrifices performed, for the forgiveness of sin - for the inhabitants of the nation. God did away with these Works and put in place a new system called - Grace. You are saved by Grace and not by Works.

Once again, Grace is simply - the person and cross of Jesus Christ. The Mosaic sacrificial system is now obsolete and the only available means for the forgiveness, and remittance of sin - is through the cross of Jesus Christ. His blood alone is the only cleansing agent that God accepts. Otherwise, your sins will be yours unto Hell and The Eternal Lake of Fire – to all’s sorrow and your regret.

ROMANS 6:23

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."

"But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? 15 We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, 16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. 17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. 18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. 19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."

The issue with Grace is - we still sin, as we are walking out this life with Christ. The Lord requires us to repent - when we sin and to be converted, and transformed into his image, bearing fruit - that remains to the end - while perfecting holiness, in the fear of God. Jesus Christ did not get rid of who he is and what he expects from his creation, he only removed the old sacrificial system and Mosaic laws. We are saved by Grace. But Grace does not eliminate obedience, he requires it.

saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? It is hard for

thee to kick against the pricks.

15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And he said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest.

16 But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose,

to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen,

and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;

17 Delivering thee from the people, and from the Gentiles, unto whom now I send

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of

the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in

them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and

touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

Lord Almighty.”

HAGGAI 1:1-2:23

"In the second year of Darius the king, in the sixth month, in the first day of the

month, came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet unto Zerubbabel

the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Josedech, the high

priest, saying,

2 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, This people say, The time is not come, the

time that the Lord's house should be built.

3 Then came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet, saying,

4 Is it time for you, O ye, to dwell in your cieled houses, and this house lie waste?

5 Now therefore thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.

6 Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink,

but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm;

and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.

7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Consider your ways.

8 Go up to the mountain, and bring wood, and build the house; and I will take

pleasure in it, and I will be glorified, saith the Lord.

9 Ye looked for much, and, lo it came to little; and when ye brought it home, I did

blow upon it. Why? Saith the Lord of hosts. Because of mine house that is waste,

and ye run every man unto his own house.

10 Therefore the heaven over you is stayed from dew, and the earth is stayed from

her fruit.

11 And I called for a drought upon the land, and upon the mountains, and upon the

corn, and upon the new wine, and upon the oil, and upon that which the ground

bringeth forth, and upon men, and upon cattle, and upon all the labour of the hands.

12 Then Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and Joshua the son of Josedech, the high

priest, with all the remnant of the people, obeyed the voice of the Lord their God, and

the words

of Haggai the prophet, as the Lord their God had sent him, and the people did fear

before the Lord.

13 Then spake Haggai the Lord's messenger in the Lord's message unto the people,

saying, I am with you, saith the Lord.

14 And the Lord stirred up the spirit of Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of

Judah, and the spirit of Joshua the son of Josedech, the high priest, and the spirit of

all the remnant of the people; and they came and did work in the house of the Lord

of hosts, their God,

15 In the four and twentieth day of the sixth month, in the second year of Darius

the king.

2 In the seventh month, in the one and twentieth day of the month, came the word

of the Lord by the prophet Haggai, saying,

2 Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the

son of Josedech, the high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,

3 Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? And how do ye see it

now? Is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel, saith the Lord; and be strong, O Joshua, son of

Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the Lord, and

work: for I am with you, saith the Lord of hosts:

5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so

my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.

6 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the

heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

7 And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will

fill this house with glory, saith the Lord of hosts.

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the Lord of hosts.

9 The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord

of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.

10 In the four and twentieth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius,

came the word of the Lord by Haggai the prophet, saying,

11 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,

12 If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and with his skirt do touch

bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the priests

answered and said, No.

13 Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these,

shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.

14 Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before

me, saith the Lord; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer

there is unclean.

15 And now, I pray you, consider from this day and upward, from before a stone

was laid upon a stone in the temple of the Lord:

16 Since those days were, when one came to an heap of twenty measures, there

were but ten: when one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels out of

the press, there were but twenty.

17 I smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of

your hands; yet ye turned not to me, saith the Lord.

18 Consider now from this day and upward, from the four and twentieth day of the

ninth month, even from the day that the foundation of the Lord's temple was laid,

consider it.

19 Is the seed yet in the barn? Yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the

pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless

20 And again the word of the Lord came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day

of the month, saying,

21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and

the earth;

22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of

the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride

in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, everyone by the sword

of his brother.

23 In that day, saith the Lord of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, my servant,

the son of Shealtiel, saith the Lord, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen

thee, saith the Lord of hosts."

yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this

people at all, saith the Lord.”

"Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar."

If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that

are written in this book:

31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed;

and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God:

wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.”

JOHN 3:16-18

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever

believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world

through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned

already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

48.  People; who know Jesus commands and expects - clean leadership.

MATTHEW 3:8-12

“Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

9 And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say

unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

10 And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which

bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is

mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the

Holy Ghost, and with fire:

12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his

wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

49. People; who possess and maintain - sound doctrine.

2 JOHN 1:9-11

“Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God.

He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your

house, neither bid him God speed:

11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”

50. People; who have and rely on - the Holy Spirit.

JOHN 1:12

“But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God,

even to them that believe on his name.”

MARK 1:6-8

“And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins;

and he did eat locusts and wild honey;

7 And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of

whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy

1 JOHN 4:4

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that

is in you, than he that is in the world.”

51. People; who know Jesus is working through us – for the profit of all.

JOHN 14:12

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall

he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my

“Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye

were led.

3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God

calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the

Holy Ghost.

4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all

in all.

7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of

knowledge by the same Spirit;

9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same

10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning

of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of

11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man

severally as he will.

12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that

one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or

Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one

14 For the body is not one member, but many.

15 If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it

therefore not of the body?

16 And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is

it therefore not of the body?

17 If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were

hearing, where were the smelling?

18 But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath

pleased him.

19 And if they were all one member, where were the body?

20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.

21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the

head to the feet, I have no need of you.

22 Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble,

are necessary:

23 And those members of the body, which we think to be less honourable, upon

these we bestow more abundant honour; and our uncomely parts have more

abundant comeliness.

24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together,

having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked.

25 That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have

the same care one for another.

26 And whether one member suffer,  all the members suffer with it; or one member

be honoured, all the members rejoice with it.

27 Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

28 And God hath set some in the  church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly

teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities

of tongues.

29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?

30 Have all the gifts of healing? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?

31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way."

52. People; that speak the truth, in love.

“That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with

every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they

lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the

head, even Christ.”

53. People; who examine themselves.

1 CORINTHIANS 11:28-32

"But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of

that cup.

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation

to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not

be condemned with the world."

"Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves.

Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be

54. People; who continue in the faith.

1 JOHN 2:18-19

“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall

come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the

last time.

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us,

they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they

might be made manifest that they were not all of us.”

“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.”

JUDE 1:5

“I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that

the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed

them that believed not.”

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He

that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.”
