PSALM 103:19

“Give ear, O ye heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

2 My doctrine shall drop as the rain, my speech shall distil as the dew, as the

mall rain upon the tender herb, and as the showers upon the grass :

3 Because I will publish the name of the Lord: ascribe ye greatness unto our God.

4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth

and without iniquity, just and right is he.

5 They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: they are

a perverse and crooked generation.

6 Do ye thus requite the Lord, O foolish people and unwise? Is not he thy father that

hath bought thee? Hath he not made thee, and established thee?

7 Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father,

and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee.

8 When the Most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated

the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the

children of Israel.

9 For the Lord's portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him

about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her

wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

12 So the Lord alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

13 He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase

of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty

14 Butter of kine, and milk of sheep, with fat of lambs, and rams of the breed of

Bashan, and goats, with the fat of kidneys of wheat; and thou didst drink the pure

blood of the grape.

15 But Jeshurun waxed fat, and kicked: thou art waxen fat, thou art grown thick,

thou art covered with fatness; then he forsook God which made him, and lightly

esteemed the Rock of his salvation.

16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked

they him to anger.

17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new

gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.

18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that

formed thee.

19 And when the Lord saw it, he abhorred them, because of the provoking of his

sons, and of his daughters.

20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for

they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.

21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked

me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which

are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

22 For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall

consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the

23 I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them.

24 They shall be burnt with hunger, and devoured with burning heat, and with bitter

destruction: I will also send the teeth of beasts upon them, with the poison of

serpents of the dust.

25 The sword without, and terror within, shall destroy both the young man and the

virgin, the suckling also with the man of gray hairs.

26 I said, I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them

to cease from among men:

27 Were it not that I feared the wrath of the enemy, lest their adversaries should

behave themselves strangely, and lest they should say, Our hand is high, and the

Lord hath not done all this.

28 For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.

29 O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their

latter end!

30 How should one chase a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, except

their Rock had sold them, and the Lord had shut them up?

31 For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes

are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter:

33 Their wine is the poison of dragons, and the cruel venom of asps.

34 Is not this laid up in store with me, and sealed up among my treasures?

35 To me belongeth vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time:

for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them

make haste.

36 For the Lord shall judge his people, and repent himself for his servants, when

he seeth that their power is gone, and there is none shut up, or left.

37 And he shall say, Where are their gods, their rock in whom they trusted,

38 Which did eat the fat of their sacrifices, and drank the wine of their drink

offerings? Let them rise up and help you, and be your protection.

39 See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make

alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

40 For I lift up my hand to heaven, and say, I live forever.

41 If I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render

vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me.

42 I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, and my sword shall devour flesh;

and that with the blood of the slain and of the captives, from the beginning of

revenges upon the enemy.

43 Rejoice, O ye nations, with his people: for he will avenge the blood of his

servants, and will render vengeance to his adversaries, and will be merciful

unto his land, and to his people.

44 And Moses came and spake all the words of this song in the ears of the people,

he, and Hoshea the son of Nun.

45 And Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel:

46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among

you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words

of this law.

47 For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing

ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.”

The Promises of God.

“Thou art the Lord the God, who didst choose Abram, and broughtest him forth out

of Ur of the Chaldees, and gavest him the name of Abraham;

8 And foundest his heart faithful before thee, and madest a covenant with him to

give the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Perizzites,

and the Jebusites, and the Girgashites, to give it, I say, to his seed, and hast performed

thy words; for thou art righteous:

9 And didst see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heardest their cry by the Red

10 And shewedst signs and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the

people of his land: for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them. So didst thou

get thee a name, as it is this day.

11 And thou didst divide the sea before them, so that they went through the midst of

the sea on the dry land; and their persecutors thou threwest into the deeps, as a stone

into the mighty waters.

12 Moreover thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a

pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go.

13 Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven,

and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:

14 And madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them precepts,

statutes, and laws, by the hand of Moses thy servant:

15 And gavest them bread from heaven for their hunger, and broughtest forth water

for them out of the rock for their thirst, and promisedst them that they should go in

to possess the land which thou hadst sworn to give them.

16 But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened

not to thy commandments,

17 And refused to obey, neither were mindful of thy wonders that thou didst among

them; but hardened their necks, and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return

to their bondage: but thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to

anger, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.

18 Yea, when they had made them a molten calf, and said, This is thy God that brought

thee up out of Egypt, and had wrought great provocations;

19 Yet thou in thy manifold mercies forsookest them not in the wilderness: the pillar

of the cloud departed not from them by day, to lead them in the way; neither the pillar

of fire by night, to shew them light, and the way wherein they should go.

20 Thou gavest also thy good spirit to instruct them, and withheldest not thy manna

from their mouth, and gavest them water for their thirst.

21 Yea, forty years didst thou sustain them in the wilderness, so that they lacked

nothing; their clothes waxed not old, and their feet swelled not.

22 Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and nations, and didst divide them into

corners: so they possessed the land of Sihon, and the land of the king of Heshbon,

and the land of Og king of Bashan.

23 Their children also multipliedst thou as the stars of heaven, and broughtest them

into the land, concerning which thou hadst promised to their fathers, that they

should go in to possess it.

24 So the children went in and possessed the land, and thou subduedst before

them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and gavest them into their hands,

 with their kings, and the people of the land, that they might do with them as they

25 And they took strong cities, and a fat land, and possessed houses full of all

goods, wells digged, vineyards, and olive yards, and fruit trees in abundance: so

they did eat, and were filled, and became fat, and delighted themselves in thy

great goodness.

26 Nevertheless they were disobedient, and rebelled against thee, and cast thy

law behind their backs, and slew thy prophets which testified against them to turn

them to thee, and they wrought great provocations.

27 Therefore thou deliveredst them into the hand of their enemies, who vexed

them: and in the time of their trouble, when they cried unto thee, thou heardest

them from heaven; and according to thy manifold mercies thou gavest them

saviours, who saved them out of the hand of their enemies.

28 But after they had rest, they did evil again before thee: therefore leftest thou

them in the land of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet

when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and many

times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies;

29 And testifiedst against them, that thou mightest bring them again unto thy law:

yet they dealt proudly, and hearkened not unto thy commandments, but sinned against

thy judgments, (which if a man do, he shall live in them;) and withdrew the shoulder,

and hardened their neck, and would not hear.

30 Yet many years didst thou forbear them, and testifiedst against them by thy spirit

in thy prophets: yet would they not give ear: therefore gavest thou them into the hand

of the people of the lands.

31 Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor

forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.

32 Now therefore, our God, the great, the mighty, and the terrible God, who keepest

covenant and mercy, let not all the trouble seem little before thee, that hath come

upon us, on our kings, on our princes, and on our priests, and on our prophets, and on

our fathers, and on all thy people, since the time of the kings of Assyria unto this day.

33 Howbeit thou art just in all that is brought upon us; for thou hast done right, but we

have done wickedly:

34 Neither have our kings, our princes, our priests, nor our fathers, kept thy law,

nor hearkened unto thy commandments and thy testimonies, wherewith thou didst

testify against them.

35 For they have not served thee in their kingdom, and in thy great goodness that

thou gavest them, and in the large and fat land which thou gavest before them,

neither turned they from their wicked works.

36 Behold, we are servants this day, and for the land that thou gavest unto our

fathers to eat the fruit thereof and the good thereof, behold, we are servants in it:

37 And it yieldeth much increase unto the kings whom thou hast set over us because

of our sins: also they have dominion over our bodies, and over our cattle, at their

pleasure, and we are in great distress.

38 And because of all this we make a sure covenant, and write it; and our princes,

Levites, and priests, seal unto it.”

Hebrew Word = Chokmah.

Meaning = Piety towards God.

Piety means = Purity, devotion, holiness, godliness.

PSALM 18:21-22

For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.”

PSALM 106:3

“Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that doeth righteousness at all times.”

The King.

King David kept himself from sin, because he knew the Lord’s consequence to sin.

The Lord sees all, and nothing escapes him.

The wicked will not go unpunished;

“Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the

righteous shall be delivered.”

The only sane and correct course to take in life - is one of respect, godliness and

“For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be

good, or whether it be evil.”

“Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him

return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will

abundantly pardon.”

The reason for sin in our society is - Lack of Knowledge;

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”

“For my people is foolish, they have not known me; they are sottish children,

and they have none understanding: they are wise to do evil, but to do good they

have no knowledge.”

Unrepentant Sin.

The reason for unrepentant sin in our society, is because people do not know;

God means what he says.

God has written life for the human race in the Bible, and it is our duty to know

the Bible and to obey it.

The devil has been whispering to humans from the beginning, to deceive and to

delude them from the reality of life,  in order to destroy them here and for all

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had

And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the

The devil.

The devil had Eve question God’s command, and the consequence of sinning against him.

This resulted in the death of Adam and Eve, and their separation from God.

Sin always results; in death.

We must be a people of purpose.

The purpose must be to know God, and to obey God;

“Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments:

for this is the whole duty of man.”

"And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from

heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not

God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and

from the glory of his power.”

We need to remember; The 3 x 4 Rule; (4 Scriptures; Three Foundations).

1. MATTHEW 28:19  /  The Father, Son & Holy Spirit.

2. JOHN 1:14  /  Love, Grace & Truth.

3. JOHN 16:7-8  /  Sin, Righteousness & Judgment.

4. JOHN 14:6  /  The Way, The Truth & The Life.

Many Dimensions.

As you can see, the Lord has many dimensions.

These dimensions not only include love and grace.

They also include sin, righteousness and judgment.

The missing pieces in our society are obvious.

We have missed sin and judgment, and the effects of these on the human life;

both here and eternally.

We need - no more casualties.

For casualties are real people, that are currently in Hell - awaiting the White

Throne of Judgment, to be cast into the everlasting – Lake of Fire.

We must awake to reality, and choose salvation.

There is only one road to salvation, and that is God’s road.

Through knowledge, understanding, repentance, the blood of Jesus, the forgiveness

of sins, reconciliation to God, submission to God and our obedience to him;

as we travel through life with him, being transformed into his image on a daily basis.

Fear The Lord.

May all the earth fear the Lord, and stand in awe of him;

PSALM 33:8

“Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.”

To fear the Lord means, to hate evil;

“The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the

froward mouth, do I hate.”

The fear of the Lord is, to walk in his ways;

"And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy

God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy

heart and with all thy soul,

13 To keep the commandments of the Lord, and his statutes, which I command thee this

day for thy good.”

The Bible.

The Bible is the counsel of God;

“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword,

piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,

and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

“As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father

doth his children,

12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the

word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in

truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”

2 TIMOTHY 3:16-17

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,

for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

The Bible is to be read daily;

"And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God,

command that these stones be made bread.

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every

word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things

shall be added unto you.”

MATTHEW 6:9-13

"After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be

thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom,

and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.”

The Bible sanctifies and cleanses us from the evil way, and the evil invisible kingdom;

JOHN 17:17

“Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave

himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any

such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

The Fool.

Be careful not to be a fool, despising and rejecting – God’s Word;

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom

and instruction.”

Lake of Fire.

People who have rejected and not honored God’s Word, will suffer an eternity in;

The Lake of Fire;

“For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he

be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit

of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and

lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they

received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in

PROVERBS 1:27-33

“When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind;

when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but

they shall not find me:

29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:

30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their

own devices.

32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools

shall destroy them.

33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear

of evil.”

“Hear me now therefore, O ye children, and depart not from the words of my mouth.

8 Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house:

9 Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel:

10 Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a

11 And thou mourn at the last, when thy flesh and thy body are consumed,

12 And say, How have I hated instruction, and my heart despised reproof;

13 And have not obeyed the voice of my teachers, nor inclined mine ear to them

that instructed me!”

“A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.”

It is mandatory that we seek and know God – for this is life;

“I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.”

Blessed are the people who love and keep The Word, in their lives;

PSALM 1:1-3

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly,

nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit

in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”

The Unwise.

Be not an unwise generation that seek to know themselves;

we need to know and obey God;

“A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.”

Letting Go.

Take heed to the warning of not holding onto God’s Word, in your life;

“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them

over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.”

The devil will try to seduce you into neglecting The Word, in order to destroy you;

DANIEL 8:1-12

“In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar a vision appeared unto me, even

unto me Daniel, after that which appeared unto me at the first.

2 And I saw in a vision; and it came to pass, when I saw, that I was at Shushan in the

palace, which is in the province of Elam; and I saw in a vision, and I was by the

river of Ulai.

3 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and saw, and, behold, there stood before the river a

ram which had two horns: and the two horns were high; but one was higher than

the other, and the higher came up last.

4 I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts

might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand;

but he did according to his will, and became great.

5 And as I was considering, behold, an he goat came from the west on the face

of the whole earth, and touched not the ground: and the goat had a notable horn

between his eyes.

6 And he came to the ram that had two horns, which I had seen standing before

the river, and ran unto him in the fury of his power.

7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler against

him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the

ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon

him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand.

8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn

was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven.

9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great,

toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the

host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the

daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down.

12 And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression,

and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.”

Life or Destruction.

Remember, The Lord desires to give you life, and the devil longs to destroy you;

JOHN 10:10

“The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy:

I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”

Choose Life.

Please choose life, on a daily basis, keeping alert;

1 PETER 5:8-9

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about,

seeking whom he may devour:

Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished

in your brethren that are in the world.”

Wear The Armour.

Remain in the full armour of God, on a daily basis;

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand

in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate

of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery

darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto

with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”

The Word is vital, like oxygen for us to live and remain in victory, please continue in this

until Heaven;

JOHN 8:31

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then

are ye my disciples indeed.”

Depart From Evil.

Let all fear The Lord, and depart from evil;

2 TIMOTHY 2:19

“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth

them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from

JOB 28:28

“And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from

evil is understanding.”

“Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil.

8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.”

God rewards them that fear him.

“In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of

“The fear of the Lord tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall

not be visited with evil.”

PSALM 34:7

“The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth

PSALM 34:9-10

“O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.

10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not

want any good thing.”

PSALM 112:1-4

“Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth

greatly in his commandments.

2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall

be blessed.

3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth

4 Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full

of compassion, and righteous.”

PSALM 115:12-13

“The Lord hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he

will bless the house of Aaron.

13 He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.”

“For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all

that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith

the Lord of hosts,

that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his

wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.”

JEREMIAH 32:38-42

“And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me forever, for

the good of them, and of their children after them:

40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from

them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart

from me.

41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land

assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

42 For thus saith the Lord; Like as I have brought all this great evil upon this people,

so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.”

The Fountain of Life.

The fear of The Lord is, a fountain of life;

“The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.”

“The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.”

ISAIAH 33:5-6

“The Lord is exalted; for he dwelleth on high: he hath filled Zion with judgment

and righteousness.

6 And wisdom and knowledge shall be the stability of thy times, and strength of salvation:

the fear of the Lord is his treasure.”

The Secret.

The secret of The Lord are with them who - fear The Lord;

PSALM 25:14

“The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his

GENESIS 18:17-19

“And the Lord said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do;

18 Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the

nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

19 For I know him, that he will command his children and his household after him, and

they shall keep the way of the Lord, to do justice and judgment; that the Lord may

bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him."

“For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.”

MATTHEW 13:10-12

“And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries

of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more  abundance: but

whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.”

JOHN 14:16-17

“And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide

with you forever;

17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not,

neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.”

JOHN 15:14-15

“Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth:

but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made

known unto you.”

“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that

we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but

which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are

foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

“Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the

sword of  my mouth.

17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him

that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone,

and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that

receiveth it.”

God's Mercy.

God’s mercy is on them, that fear him;

LUKE 1:49-50

“For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.

50 And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.”

PSALM 31:19

“Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;

which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!”

PSALM 103:11-14

“For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear

13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”

PSALM 103:17-18

“But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,

and his righteousness unto children's children;

18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to

do them.”

PSALM 115:13-14

“He will bless them that fear the Lord, both small and great.

14 The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children.”

PSALM 118:4

“Let them now that fear the Lord say, that his mercy endureth forever.”

PSALM 145:18-19

The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.

19 He will fulfill the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and

will save them.”

PSALM 147:11

"The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy."

MALACHI 3:16-18

“Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened,

and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared

the Lord, and that thought upon his name.

17 And they shall be mine, saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I make up my

jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

18 Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between

him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.”

“And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye

that fear him, both small and great.”

Action Required.

The fear of The Lord requires our action, in doing and keeping his commandments;

PSALM 111:10

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they

that do his commandments: his praise endureth forever.”

EXODUS 20:1-6

“And God spake all these words, saying,

2 I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the

house of bondage.

3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is

in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am

“If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;

4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and

the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

5 And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto

the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you

afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through

your land.

7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand

to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish

my covenant with you.

10 And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.

11 And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.

12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

13 I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye

should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you

go upright.

14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;

15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye

will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:

16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and

the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall

sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.

17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they

that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.

18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven

times  more for your sins.

19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and

your earth as brass:

20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase,

neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.

21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven

times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and

destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.

23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;

24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for

your sins.

25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant:

and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among

you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.

26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread

in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat,

and not be satisfied.

27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;

28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you

seven times for your sins.

29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye

30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your

carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.

31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation,

and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.

32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein

shall be astonished at it.

33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you:

and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in

your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.

35 As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths,

when ye dwelt upon it.

36 And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts

in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and

 they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.

37 And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth:

and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.

38 And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.

39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands;

and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.

40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass

which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;

41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land

of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept

of the punishment of their iniquity:

42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and

also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth

desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity:

because, even because

they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.

44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them

away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with

them: for I am the Lord their God.

45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought

forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I

am the Lord.

46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the Lord made between him

and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.”

1 CHRONICLES 22:11-13

“Now, my son, the Lord be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of

the Lord thy God, as he hath said of thee.

12 Only the Lord give thee wisdom and understanding, and give thee charge

concerning Israel, that thou mayest keep the law of  the Lord thy God.

13 Then shalt thou prosper, if thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments

which the Lord charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage;

dread not, nor be dismayed.”

1 CHRONICLES 28:1-10

“And David assembled all the princes of Israel, the princes of the tribes, and the

captains of the companies that ministered to the king by course, and the captains

over the thousands, and captains over the hundreds, and the stewards over all the

substance and possession of the king, and of his sons, with the officers, and with

the mighty men, and with all the valiant men, unto Jerusalem.

2 Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren,

and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the

ark of the covenant of the Lord, and for the footstool of our God, and had made

ready for the building:

3 But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because

thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood.

4 Howbeit the Lord God of Israel chose me before all the house of my father

to be king over Israel for ever: for he hath chosen Judah to be the ruler; and

of the house of Judah, the house of my father; and among the sons of my father

he liked me to make me king over all Israel:

5 And of all my sons, (for the Lord hath given me many sons,) he hath chosen

Solomon my son to sit upon the throne of the kingdom of the Lord over Israel.

6 And he said unto me, Solomon thy son, he shall build my house and my

courts: for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.

7 Moreover I will establish his kingdom forever, if he be constant to do my

commandments and my judgments, as at this day.

Now therefore in the sight of all Israel the congregation of the Lord, and in

the audience of our God, keep and seek for all the commandments of the

Lord your God: that ye may possess this good land, and leave it for an

inheritance for your children after you forever.

9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve

him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all

hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek

him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off

10 Take heed now; for the Lord hath chosen thee to build an house for the

sanctuary: be strong, and do it.”

“Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.

3 For I was my father's son, tender and only beloved in the sight of my mother.

4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep

my commandments, and live.”

“My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee.

2 Keep my commandments, and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.

3 Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.

Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman.”

MATTHEW 19:16-17

“And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do,

that I may have eternal life?

17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is,

God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.”

MATTHEW 12:46-50

“While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without,

desiring to speak with him.

47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring

to speak with thee.

48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? And who are

my brethren?

49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother

and my brethren!

50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my

brother, and sister, and mother.”

JOHN 14:15

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

JOHN 14:21-24

“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he

that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself

to him.

22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto

us, and not unto the world?

23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my

Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not

mine, but the Father's which sent me.”

1 JOHN 3:21-22

Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments,

and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.”

1 JOHN 5:1-3

“Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and everyone

that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep

his commandments.

3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his

commandments are not grievous.”

"Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of

life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

Fear him that can destroy your soul, and your body in Hell;

“And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul:

but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

LUKE 12:4-5

“And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body,

and after that have no more that they can do.

5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he

hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.”

HEBREWS 10:26-31

“For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth,

there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which

shall devour the adversaries.

28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy,

who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the

covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto

the Spirit of grace?

30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense,

saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.”

“Sanctify the Lord of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let him be your

Let us come to terms with the fact, we must repent.

We need to stop making excuses, and living sloppy lives.

Let us receive God’s mercy and cleansing, instead of his wrath;

ISAIAH 42:1-4

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth;

 I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.

2 He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street.

3 A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench:

he shall bring forth judgment unto truth.

4 He shall not fail nor be discouraged,  till he have set judgment in the earth:

and the isles shall wait for his law.”

Let all depart from iniquity;

2 TIMOTHY 2:19

“Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal,

The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let everyone that nameth

the name of Christ depart from iniquity.”

Work It Out.

May all be working out their salvation – daily;

“Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but

now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

No Want.

Remember, there is no want for them who – fear The Lord;

PSALM 34:9

“O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.”

May we understand there is nothing we can hide – from God;

MATTHEW 7:19-23

“Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21 Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;

but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name?

And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works?

MATTHEW 25:31-46

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then

shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from

another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father,

inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I

was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye

came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred,

and fed thee? Or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? Or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye

have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into

everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

JOHN 5:28-29

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall

they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”

ROMANS 14:10-12

“But why dost thou judge thy brother? Or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?

For we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every

tongue shall confess to God.

12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.”

“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be

present with the Lord.

9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may

receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good

or bad.

11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made

manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.”

“Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked

and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”

2 CHRONICLES 6:30-31

“Then hear thou from heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and render unto every

man according unto all his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou only knowest the

hearts of the children of men:)

thou gavest unto our fathers.”

PSALM 139:1-12

“O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me.

2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought

afar off.

3 Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways.

4 For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.

5 Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it.

7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou

art there.

9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

1If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light

about me.

12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day:

the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.”

"The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”

“Hell and destruction are before the Lord: how much more then the hearts of the

children of men?”

“For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it

I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his

“And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into

great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

according to your works.”

“Is it fit to say to a king, Thou art wicked? And to princes, Ye are ungodly?

19 How much less to him that accepteth not the persons of princes, nor regardeth the

rich more than the poor? For they all are the work of his hands.

20 In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass

away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.

21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings.

22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may

hide themselves.”

“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and

the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened:

and another book was

opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which

were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the

dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of

We must remember we all die, then face God’s judgment;

“And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”

ROMANS 2:1-11

“Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for

wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest

doest the same things.

2 But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them

which commit such things.

3 And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and

doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering;

not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath

against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;

6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour

and immortality, eternal life:

8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not

obey the truth, but obey  unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,

9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first,

and also of the Gentile;

10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first,

and also to the Gentile:

11 For there is no respect of persons with God.”

JOB 34:10-11

“Therefore hearken unto me ye men of understanding: far be it from God, that he

should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find

according to his ways.”

PSALM 62:11-12

“God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

12 Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man

according to his work.”

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the

tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and

idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”

The Angel.

The angels cry, “Fear God!”

“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel

to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and

tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his

judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and

the fountains of waters.”

The Life.

We must live in, the fear of God;

PROVERBS 23:17-18

“Let not thine heart envy sinners: but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long.

18 For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.”

“Happy is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall into

PSALM 112:1

Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly

in his commandments.”

Do All.

Do all with, the fear of The Lord;

“And Jehoshaphat dwelt at Jerusalem: and he went out again through the people from

Beersheba to mount Ephraim, and brought them back unto the Lord God of their fathers.

5 And he set judges in the land throughout all the fenced cities of Judah, city by city,

6 And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the

Lord, who is with you in the judgment.

Wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; take heed and do it: for there is

no iniquity with the Lord our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of gifts.

8 Moreover in Jerusalem did Jehoshaphat set of the Levites, and of the priests, and of

the chief of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of the Lord, and for controversies,

when they returned to Jerusalem.

9 And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully, and

with a perfect heart.”

Clean And Forever.

The fear of The Lord is clean, and endures forever;

PSALM 19:8-11

“The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord

is pure, enlightening the eyes.

9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever: the judgments of the Lord are true

and righteous altogether.

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than

honey and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great

PSALM 119:127-129

“Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.

128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right;

and I hate every false way.

129 Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.”

PSALM 12:6

“The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified

seven times.”

“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.”

“Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.”

God's commandments, make you wise;

PSALM 119:97-100

“O how love I thy law! It is my meditation all the day.

98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies:

for they are ever with me.

99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are

my meditation.

100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.”

PSALM 119:128-130

“Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate

every false way.

129 Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.

130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.”

God’s Word shows us, how to live;

PSALM 119:105

"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

“For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction

are the way of life.”

Riches, Honor And Life.

Riches, honor and life come through - The fear of The Lord;

"The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.”

“By humility and the fear of the Lord are riches, and honour, and life.”

Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.

11 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction:

12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he

13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain

thereof than fine gold.

15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be

compared unto her.

16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.

17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is everyone that

retaineth her.”

“He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and

Increase of Years.

The fear of The Lord, increases the years of the righteous;

PROVERBS 10:27-31

“The fear of the Lord prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

28 The hope of the righteous shall be gladness: but the expectation of the wicked

shall perish.

29 The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the

workers of iniquity.

30 The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.

31 The mouth of the just bringeth forth wisdom: but the froward tongue shall be cut

Better to have little with the fear of The Lord, than riches without the fear of The Lord;

"Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.”

Hebrew Word = Eviyl.

Meaning = One who is quarrelsome, licentious, despises wisdom and mocks when guilty.

PSALM 14:1-5

“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done

abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

2 The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there

were any that did understand, and seek God.

3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that

doeth good, no, not one.

4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? Who eat up my people as they

eat bread, and call not upon the Lord.

5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.”

ISAIAH 2:1-22

“The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's

house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted

above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain

of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways,

and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the

word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and

they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks:

nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

5 O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord.

Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be

replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please

themselves in the children of strangers.

7 Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their

treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:

Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that

which their own fingers have made:

9 And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore

forgive them not.

10 Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the

glory of his majesty.

11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be

bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

12 For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty,

and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

13 And upon all the cedars of  Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all

the oaks of Bashan,

14 And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,

15 And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,

16 And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.

17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men

shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.

18 And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth,

for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake

terribly the earth.

20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which

they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks,

for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake

terribly the earth.

22 Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to

be accounted of?”

The Rebellious.

The result of rebellion;

PROVERBS 1:24-33

How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? And the scorners delight

in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?

23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will

make known my words unto you.

24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and

no man regarded;

25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a

whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early,

but they shall not find me:

29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:

30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their

own devices.

32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools

shall destroy them.

33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear

of evil.”

Warning Examples.

1. Satan.

Origin = An angel created by God, to be a pure protector.

Satan became corrupt, as he was lifted up with pride over his beauty and position.

Satan was thrown out of Heaven by God, for his rebellion to God’s authority,

government and person;

LUKE 17:17-20

“And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject

unto us through thy name.

18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all

the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but

rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”

ISAIAH 14:12-21

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou

cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne

above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides

of the north:

14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this

the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened

not the house of his prisoners?

18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, everyone in his own house.

19 But thou art cast out of thy grave like an abominable branch, and as the raiment of

those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down to the stones of the pit;

as a carcase trodden under feet.

20 Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land,

and slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.

21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not

rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.”

EZEKIEL 28:12-19

Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus

saith the Lord God; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering,

the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire,

the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy

pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created.

14 Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon

the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of

15 Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was

found in thee.

16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence,

and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God:

and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by

reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that

they may behold thee.

18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity

of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour

thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold

19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be

a terror, and never shalt thou be anymore.

Satan’s Current Location.

Satan currently resides in the High Places, above and over the earth – within the

invisible realm - with his demonic government, consisting of the sinful angels, that

have been cursed by God.

Satan  lives to steal, kill and to destroy humanity – both here and eternally.

God has informed humanity, how to deal with the devil;

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath

righteousness with unrighteousness? And what communion hath light with darkness?

15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? Or what part hath he that believeth with

an infidel?

16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? For ye are the temple of the

living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their

God, and they shall be my people.

17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and

touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of

the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand

in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the

breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery

darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with

all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”

Satan's Future.

Satan and one third of the rebellious angels, have been sentenced to

an eternal location of torment, in the everlasting Lake of Fire;

“And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where

the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and

Do not end up in Hell with the devil, and all the rebellious;

“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth

and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were

opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were

judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the

dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake

of fire.”

2. Cain.

Origin = Son of Adam and Eve.

The Situation = God tried to teach him, the right way to be;

“If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at

the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.”

The Foolishness = Cain did not listen to God and killed his brother Abel, because he was

angry that his brother was righteous and he did wickedly;

“And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field,

Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.”

The Consequence = The Lord chastised and cursed Cain, and put a mark on him;

GENESIS 4:9-16

“And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not:

Am I my brother's keeper?

10 And he said, What hast thou done? The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto

me from the ground.

11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive

thy brother's blood from thy hand;

12 When thou tillest the ground, it shall not henceforth yield unto thee her strength;

a fugitive and a vagabond shalt thou be in the earth.

13 And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear.

14 Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy

face shall

I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass,

that every one that findeth me shall slay me.

15 And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slayeth Cain, vengeance shall

be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him

should kill him.

16 And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod,

on the east of Eden.”

Allow the Lord to correct and teach you the right way to live, in order for you to have a

blessed life - instead of a cursed life;

PSALM 119:105

“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”

3. Noah's Generation.

Origin = The world perverting themselves with each other, under the eyes of God;

“And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and

daughters were born unto them,

2 That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they

took them wives of all which they chose.

3 And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he

also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the

sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them,

the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that

every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him

at his heart.

7 And the Lord said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of

the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air;

for it repenteth me that I have made them.”

The Situation = God is upset and finds one righteous man, and plans

the destruction of the perverted society;

GENESIS 6:11-22

"The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

12 And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had

corrupted his way upon the earth.

13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth

is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

14 Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt

pitch it within and without with pitch.

15 And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be

three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

16 A window shalt thou make to the ark, and in a cubit shalt thou finish it above; and

the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third

stories shalt thou make it.

17 And, behold, I, even I, do bring a flood of waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh,

wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; and everything that is in the earth

shall die.

18 But with thee will I establish my covenant; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou,

and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.

19 And of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark,

to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.

20 Of fowls after their kind, and of cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the

earth after his kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.

21 And take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and thou shalt gather it to thee;

and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.

22 Thus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he."

The Foolishness = The people of Noah’s generation, watched Noah build a boat.

They heard Noah warn them of the coming destruction of the perverted, but they

repented not – they kept on sinning;

“And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the

works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver,

and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

2Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication,

nor of their thefts.”

The Consequence = The people did not listen, and were destroyed as a result;

GENESIS 7:19-23

“And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were

under the whole heaven, were covered.

20 Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

21 And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of

beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:

22 All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.

23 And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground,

both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they

were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with

him in the ark.”

Jesus warns us of our generation, that it will be full of sin as well. Be not deceived, God

will not be mocked. Whatever a man sows, that also shall he reap;

MATTHEW 24:35-44

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my

Father only.

37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying

and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming

of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief

would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be

broken up.

44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man

4. Lot's Wife.

Origin = Abraham’s nephew Lot was married. Lot and his wife traveled with Abraham,

until they had too many possessions together.

Strife then arose between their servants. Abraham and Lot then decided to part ways.

Lot chose the city life, while Abraham chose the prairie;

GENESIS 13:4-12

“Unto the place of the altar, which he had make there at the first: and there Abram

called on the name of the Lord.

5 And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents.

6 And the land was not able to bear them, that they might dwell

together: for their substance was great, so that they could not dwell together.

7 And there was a strife between the herdmen of Abram's cattle and the herdmen of

Lot's cattle: and the Canaanite and the Perizzite dwelled then in the land.

8 And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee,

 and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we be brethren.

9 Is not the whole land before thee? Separate thyself, I pray thee, from me: if thou

wilt take the left hand, then I will go to the right; or if thou depart to the right hand,

then I will go to the left.

10 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well

watered everywhere, before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the

garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar.

11 Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated

themselves the one from the other.

12 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and

pitched his tent toward Sodom.”

The Situation = The city where Lot chose was called Sodom. It was filthy, perverted

and full of sin;

“But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly.”

The Foolishness = God appeared to Abraham to inform him of the soon coming

destruction of Sodom, due to the perversion and sin.

He told Abraham that he would try to save Lot and his family out of the city,

before fire fell on it; to consume it from off the earth.

The angels appeared to Lot and his family, to bring them out of the city.

They warned this family - not to look back, or they would be destroyed;

GENESIS 19:15-17

“And when the morning arose, then the angels hastened Lot, saying, Arise, take

thy wife, and thy two daughters, which are here; lest thou be consumed in the iniquity

of the city.

16 And while he lingered, the men laid hold upon his hand, and upon the hand of his

wife, and upon the hand of his two daughters; the Lord being merciful unto him: and

they brought him forth, and set him without the city.

17 And it came to pass, when they had brought them forth abroad, that he said, Escape

for thy life; look not behind thee, neither stay thou in all the plain; escape to the

mountain, lest thou be consumed.”

The Consequence = Lot’s wife did not heed the warning, and was destroyed as a result;

GENESIS 19:24-26

“Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the

Lord out of heaven;

25 And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities,

and that which grew upon the ground.

26 But his wife looked back from behind him, and she became a pillar of salt.”

Are you listening to the warnings of the Lord to save your life, or are you pushing him

away - to your own destruction?

MARK 16:16

“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be

5. Miriam.

Origin = The sister of Moses.

The Situation = Miriam did not approve of the wife Moses had, as she was not a Hebrew,

she was a an Ethiopian;

“And Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he

had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.”

The Foolishness = Miriam spoke against Moses, concerning his wife and this displeased

the Lord;

“And they said, Hath the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses? Hath he not spoken also by

us? And the Lord heard it.”

The Consequence = God did not approve of this conversation, and the chastisement

from the Lord broke upon Miriam. The punishment was leprosy;

NUMBERS 12:4-9

“And the Lord spake suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam,

Come out ye three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.

5 And the Lord came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the

tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.

6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the Lord will

make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.

7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.

8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and

the similitude of the Lord shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak

against my servant Moses?

And the anger of the Lord was kindled against them; and he departed.”

Are you doing things that displease the Lord, and not fearing the results of sin?

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy

is understanding.”

6. Korah.

Origin= Member of the congregation of Israel.

The Situation = Korah did not like the way Moses was running Israel, so he stood

up against him;

NUMBERS 16:1-2

“Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and

Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:

2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and

fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown.”

The Foolishness = Korah should never have started a revolt and rebellion, against

God’s appointed leadership;

NUMBERS 16:3-4

“And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said

unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, everyone

of them, and the Lord is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the

congregation of the Lord?

4 And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face.”

The Consequence = Korah’s death;

NUMBERS 16:19-34

“And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle

of the congregation: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto all the congregation.

20 And the Lord spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a

22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh,

shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?

23 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah,

Dathan, and Abiram.

25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel

followed him.

26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of

these wicked men, and touch nothing of their's, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.

27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side:

and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives,

and their sons, and their little children.

28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the Lord hath sent me to do all these

works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.

29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the

visitation of all men; then the Lord hath not sent me.

30 But if the Lord make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them

up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye

shall understand that these men have provoked the Lord.

31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the

ground clave asunder that was under them:

32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all

the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth

closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest

the earth swallow us up also.”

Be careful not to speak against God’s leadership, or this could be your fate;

PSALM 105:15

“Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.”

MATTHEW 22:1-7

"And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,

2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they

would not come.

4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I

have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready:

Come unto the marriage.

5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his

6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.

7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and

destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.”

7. King Saul.

Origin = God chose Saul to be King of Israel, because the children of Israel desired one,

in order that they would be like all the other nations;

1 SAMUEL 8:4-7

“Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto

5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thy ways: now make

us a king to judge us like all the nations.

6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And

Samuel prayed unto the Lord.

7 And the Lord said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they

say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I

should not reign over them.”

The Situation = God informed and warned Israel, what they would be receiving;

from this desired King;

1 SAMUEL 8:9-18

“Now therefore hearken unto their voice: howbeit yet protest solemnly unto them, and

 shew them the manner of the king that shall reign over them.

10 And Samuel told all the words of the Lord unto the people that asked of him a king.

11 And he said, This will be the manner of the king that shall reign over you: He will take

your sons, and appoint them for himself, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and

some shall run before his chariots.

12 And he will appoint him captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will

set them to ear his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his instruments of war,

and instruments of his chariots.

13 And he will take your daughters to be confectionaries, and to be cooks, and to be

14 And he will take your fields, and your vineyards, and your olive yards, even the best

of them, and give them to his servants.

15 And he will take the tenth of your seed, and of your vineyards, and give to his

officers, and to his servants.

16 And he will take your menservants, and your maidservants, and your goodliest young

men, and your asses, and put them to his work.

17 He will take the tenth of your sheep: and ye shall be his servants.

18 And ye shall cry out in that day because of your king which ye shall have chosen

you; and the Lord will not hear you in that day."

The Foolishness = The people still wanted the King, that would be wicked;

1 SAMUEL 8:19-22

"Nevertheless the people refused to obey the voice of Samuel; and they said, Nay; but

we will have a king over us;

20 That we also may be like all the nations; and that our king may judge us, and go out

before us, and fight our battles.

21 And Samuel heard all the words of the people, and he rehearsed them in the ears of

the Lord.

22 And the Lord said to Samuel, Hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. And

Samuel said unto the men of Israel, Go ye every man unto his city.”

The Consequence = King Saul was not humble. He did things his way, not God’s way. He

was killed by God as the result, of his wickedness;

1 CHRONICLES 10:13-14

“So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord, even against

the word of the Lord, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a

familiar spirit, to enquire of it;

14 And enquired not of the Lord: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David

the son of Jesse.”

Never take for granted the loving kindness of God. God means what he says;

AMOS 9:10

“All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not

overtake nor prevent us.

8. Gehazi.

Origin = Gehazi was the servant of Elisha, the prophet of God;

2 KINGS 5:20

“Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God.”

The Situation = Elisha refused to receive gifts from Naaman, captain of the host of the

king of Syria – when he was healed of leprosy, by God – through Elisha;

2 KINGS 5:15-16

“And he returned to the man of God, he and all his company, and came, and stood

before him: and he said, Behold, now I know that there is no God in all the earth, but in

Israel: now therefore, I pray thee, take a blessing of thy servant.

16 But he said, As the Lord liveth, before whom I stand, I will receive none. And he

urged him to take it; but he refused.”

The Foolishness = Gehazi ran after Naaman and lied, to receive the gifts for himself,

outside the approval of his master – Elisha;

2 KINGS 5:20-23

“But Gehazi, the servant of Elisha the man of God, said, Behold, my master hath spared

Naaman this Syrian, in not receiving at his hands that which he brought: but, as the

Lord liveth, I will run after him, and take somewhat of him.

21 So Gehazi followed after Naaman. And when Naaman saw him running after him, he

lighted down from the chariot to meet him, and said, Is all well?

22 And he said, All is well. My master hath sent me, saying, Behold, even now there be

come to me from mount Ephraim two young men of the sons of the prophets: give them,

I pray thee, a talent of silver, and two changes of garments.

23 And Naaman said, Be content, take two talents. And he urged him, and bound two

talents of

silver in two bags, with two changes of garments, and laid them upon two of his

servants; and they bare them before him.”

The Consequence = Elisha found out about Gehazi’s dealings. Elisha then, through God;

pronounced leprosy on Gehazi, to last forever, due to his wickedness in his greed, and

concealment of his lust;

2 KINGS 5:25-27

“But he went in, and stood before his master. And Elisha said unto him, Whence comest

thou, Gehazi? And he said, Thy servant went no whither.

26 And he said unto him, Went not mine heart with thee, when the man turned again

from his chariot to meet thee? Is it a time to receive money, and to receive garments,

and olive yards, and vineyards, and sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and

27 The leprosy therefore of Naaman shall cleave unto thee, and unto thy seed forever.

And he went out from his presence a leper as white as snow.”

We cannot cover sin, beware - your sins will find you out;

“Be sure your sin will find you out.

ROMANS 11:22

“Remember not only the goodness of God, but also the severity of God; Behold therefore

the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee,

goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

9. Ananias & Sapphira.

Origin = A certain couple, who was in the multitude of the believers;

ACTS 4:32

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul.”

ACTS 5:1

“But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife

The Situation = The multitude of the believers were selling their possessions, and laying

the money down at the apostles feet – to distribute to all the believers, as they had

ACTS 4:32-35

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said

any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all

things common.

33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus:

and great grace was upon them all.

34 Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of

lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

35 And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man

according as he had need.”

The Foolishness = Ananias & Sapphira were a part of this group. They sold a possession

and held back some of the money for themselves, and lied about it;

ACTS 5:1-4   (Ananias)

“But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

2 And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain

part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost,

and to keep back part of the price of the land?

4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own

power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men,

but unto God.”

ACTS 5:7-9  (Sapphira)

And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was

done, came in.

8 And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she

said, Yea, for so much.

9 Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit

of the Lord? Behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door,

and shall carry  thee out.”

The Consequence = The death of Ananias & Sapphira.

ACTS 5:5-6   (Ananias Death)

“And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear

came on all them that heard these things.

6 And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him.

ACTS 5:10   (Sapphira’s Death)

"Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young

men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband.

There are no secrets with God;

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked

and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

The wages of sin is still – death;

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ

our Lord.”

10. King Herod.

Origin = King of Judea;

“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king,

behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem.”

The Situation = King Herod did not realize the importance of his life’s decisions and

actions; while he was alive;

MATTHEW 2:16-18

Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth,

and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts

thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently

inquired of the wise men.

17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying,

18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning,

Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.”

The Foolishness = King Herod continually sinned, against the Lord;

MATTHEW 14:6-11

“But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them,

and pleased Herod.

7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.

8 And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head

in a charger.

9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him

at meat, he commanded it to be given her.

10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it

to her mother.”

The Consequence = King Herod was killed by God, and remains in Hell today – awaiting

the Lake of Fire;

ACTS 12:21-23

"And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an

oration unto them.

22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.

23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the

glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.”

We all die and face God. We will be welcomed by him, or told to depart – into;

everlasting fire;

JOHN 5:28-29

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall

hear his  voice,

29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and

they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

No matter your position on earth, you will be judged or rewarded by God;

ISAIAH 14:9-11   (The resurrection of damnation.)

Hell from beneath is moved for thee to meet thee at thy coming: it stirreth up the dead

for thee, even all the chief ones of the earth; it hath raised up from their thrones all the

kings of the nations.

10 All they shall speak and say unto thee, Art thou also become weak as we? Art thou

become like unto us?

11 Thy pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of thy viols: the worm is

spread under thee, and the worms cover thee.”

REVELATION 22:14   (The resurrection of life.)

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of

life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

11. Disobedient Christians.

Christians will not inherit eternal life, if they continue in sin;

"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication,

uncleanness, lasciviousness, 20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations,

wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you

before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not

inherit the kingdom of God."

“And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from

heaven with his mighty angels,

8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the

gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and

from the glory of his power.”

JUDE 1:5-7

“I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord,

having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that

believed not.

6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath

reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving

themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an

example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.”

MATTHEW 13:37-43

“He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares

are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and

the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end

of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom

all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who

hath ears to hear, let him hear.”

“Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered;

9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that

obey him.”

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that

overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

LUKE 13:24-30

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in,

and shall not be able.

25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye

begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and

he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:

26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast

taught in our streets.

27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye

workers of iniquity.

28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac,

and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from

the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be

“But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

The Promises of God.

There are many promises of God, for those who fear him – knowing who he is,

and believing what he has said in the Bible, and living under his commands;

PSALM 103:17-18

But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,

and his righteousness unto children's children;

18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do

PSALM 25:10

"All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and

his testimonies.

EXODUS 19:5-6

“Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye

shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the

words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth

covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a

thousand generations;

10 And repayeth them that hate him to their face, to destroy them: he will not be

slack to him that hateth  him, he will repay him to his face.

11 Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments,

 which I command thee this day, to do them.

12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and

do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which

he sware unto thy fathers:

13 And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit

of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the

increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy

fathers to give thee.

14 Thou shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren

among you, or among your cattle.

15 And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil

diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that

hate thee.”

ACTS 24:16

“And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence

toward God, and toward  men.

“Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that

as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound

more and more.

Let us remember, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever;

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

As we can see, we need to have and keep - The fear of the Lord, in order to remain

ACTS 9:31

“Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were

edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were

PSALM 96:1-13

“O sing unto the Lord a new song: sing unto the Lord, all the earth.

2 Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

3 Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

4 For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the Lord made the heavens.

6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

7 Give unto the Lord, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the Lord glory and

8 Give unto the Lord the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his

9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

10 Say among the heathen that the Lord reigneth: the world also shall be established

that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness

12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood

13 Before the Lord: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge

Let us pray.
