What is Prayer?

Good question.

Prayer is the Greek word = Proseuchomai.

Meaning = To entreat God. To ask something of God. To speak with God.

Are People Able; To Communicate With God?

Yes, through prayer.

God loves to hear from you, all the time.

God will want to discuss with you the sin, in order for the sin to be destroyed;

and your life safe.

God loves you; and wants to keep you forever.

Does God Always Answer; Our Prayers?

God always answers our prayers.

But God does not always give us; what we ask for.

God's ways and love for you; are perfect.

He knows what perfect looks like; and you do not.

Where is God At; When I Pray?

1. God is always in Heaven, on his throne.

PSALM 47:8

"God reigneth over the heathen: God sitteth upon the throne of his holiness."

2. God is also all over the earth, inside the invisible realm.

God is omnipotent.

"And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according

to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none

can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?"

3. God is with you; always.

JOHN 14:23

"Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my

Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him."

Is it Okay To Get Mad At God, When he Doesn't Answer My Prayers?

But you need to not sin; in your anger.

"Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath."

You also need to forgive God, and allow him to give you what is best.

Sometimes we think we know what is best for us; but God knows better.

How Long Will It Take God; To Answer My Prayers?

Good question.

Sometimes God has to get us ready; to receive the answer to our prayer.

Example; You might have prayed for a spouse or a child.

But you are not ready for one.

Be patient with God; and this process.

"That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience

inherit the promises."

Prayer is communication, which includes both speaking and listening.

So please listen to God, when you pray.

Prayer Scriptures.

MATTHEW 6:5-15

"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray

standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men.

Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray

to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall

be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of,

before ye ask him.

9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power,

and the glory, forever. Amen.

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."

"Rejoice evermore.

17 Pray without ceasing."
