JOHN 7:7

“The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.”

Have you ever noticed that compliments, never evoke war? Jesus did not come to earth just to boost our self-esteem. Jesus came to the planet to speak of truth. He told Pilate that for this end he was born, to speak of the truth.

Truth causes tension, because people would rather be petted, than confronted. Jesus confronts us, in order to save us. If Jesus did not tell us that if we die in adultery – we would enter into Hell; we would more than likely continue in this sin, wouldn’t we? But Jesus is truth, and truth is always honest – Amen?

People get all worked up when they love their sin, and here comes a messenger of God to warn them from their wicked ways, in order to save that person’s life.

We can read from the very beginning of time that Christ was always working with humanity; desiring them to do what is right, so they could be accepted.

Not everyone loves, this kind of love. People love flattery, not truth.

Let us all become people who embrace truth, and then we will really be free, and prepared to meet the Lord.
