Perseverance.

2 TIMOTHY 4:7

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

Have you ever seen a winner that laid down to die; without getting back up? Of course not. Many in our society get run over, but they do not recover – they do not try. These people are hopeless, giving into the total mode of despondency.

My heart goes out deeply to these people, for I myself was one of them; as I was thrown out to die; totally discarded and completely abandoned. If it were not for the reality of God; I would not exist; much less thrive.

God is a mover. God will allow you to grieve, but then he desires that you get back up and move forward.

God is a forward moving God. God teaches us to learn from the past; but we are never to live in the dust of life; but to continue in the present, while looking forward to the future.

We are people of faith. People of faith know that God raised Jesus from his dead, slaughtered body. We also believe that God will rise us up again, out of the disasters and tragedies of our lives.

This is faith.

We will rise, as we look to the one who made us.

We will thrive, as we totally depend on the integrity of God; to perform his promises over us; as we keep the life he has commanded us to live; as his family.

Get up and give it all you have. You will rise.

With God’s continual help, and your continual effort – you will make it, and you will make it big.

There is never a loser who continued to hold onto Almighty God; through the hell of life.

You will make it.
