Goodness or severity?

ROMANS 11:22

“Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.”

Does this scripture sound like a picnic to you? It sure doesn’t to me. This scripture wakes us all up to – reality. Reality has now turned on the light switch, to reveal nothing but – the naked truth of existence. You might desire to cover your eyes, dive under your blanket; and for it to all go away. But it will never do that. Life continues down the eternal lane; with the laws that God created, ordained and instituted. God’s laws are eternal, unchanging and unbendable.

The good news is that God has mercy, and has given humanity time; to align under him, as he expects and commands. The bad news is written above in the Bible verse. If humanity does not align properly, it shall be destroyed and cut off from the presence of God, to the place created for the first rebel in line. Lucifer is his name. He is the devil.

Lucifer will be on fire forever, and so will all the people who did not do life – God’s commanded way. Never think for a moment that someone who died in sin, is dancing on the streets of gold above, in the place called Heaven.

The person who died in sin, is in eternal regret; in the location under the earth called Hell. This person is on fire at this minute, with worms crawling through them; desiring only to be absent from their earthly choice of rebellion. This is factual.

What do you desire from God? Do you desire eternal goodness with him in Heaven, or eternal separation from him; under his wrath?

This is every human’s choice. I pray you choose Heaven.

What area(s) in your life, need to be discarded for the safety only found in purity?
