Keep.

PROVERBS 19:16

“He that keepeth the commandment, keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways, shall die.”

Keeping; is holding onto something. Keeping; does not loosen its grip. Have you ever held a balloon, and then let it go? They are beautiful to watch float up in the air, don’t you think?

Well commandments were made to keep, not to let go of. God is telling us that if we want to live, we must keep the commandments.

I think of all the people, who let go of the commandments. Many of them are serving time in prison, and many are serving time in regret. They all wish they would have kept righteousness, instead of straying from the very borders of purity, love and safety.

Satan makes sin look pleasurable. But the ones in their individual prisons know better. Sin is no friend; to anyone. The Bible tells us that those who have suffered from sin, are through with sin. Can I hear an “Amen” on this one?

Let us all keep life, by keeping the commandments.

Have you forgiven yourself, for the sin that you have repented of?
