Idolaters.

REVELATION 21:8

“The fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

This does not sound good, does it? The important thing here is to know what an idolater is; so that the flames of Hell will not be our home; for all eternity. – Amen?

Idolatry is placing anything, above God. God needs to be the first priority in our life – period. But, how many people do you see in your home country with this mind set? Not many, I am sure. This is bad news and the result of a negligent, rebellious and complacent; sin filled life.

People live on the earth, as if they were never leaving it. I suppose they never drive past the graveyard which screams very loudly, “Your exit, will come!”

I have never met anyone past the age of 130. They are all gone. We all leave. This is a fact of the human race.

Life is more, than the idols we worship. People worship each other, they worship their money, their spouse’s, their homes, their bank accounts, their children, their career’s, their wealth, their prominence, their pomp, their fame, their success and their beauty. This is sad. Very sad. Jesus has told us to “Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.”

The wise people of the earth, read the Bible, believe the Bible, obey the Bible, and keep the Bible - until their exit.

Remember, your exit is coming and you want to go up.
