Finish.

JOHN 17:4

“I have finished the work, which thou gavest me to do.”

Finished means completed. Have you ever began a project with total joy and zeal, only to lay it down shortly after you began? God is not a quitter, and he will not allow us to quit. I have noticed this trait about him, throughout the years. When God gives you a task, he expects completion.

Many people cry out to God for direction saying, “Please show me your will Lord.” Then when God brings to light the project he has in mind for them, they totally shrug the idea off and throw it to the side, because they do not want to put in the time, energy, focus, faithfulness and dedication in order to finish the job.

God is looking for people he can count on, for the long haul.

If you went on a long overseas flight, would you want the pilot to get up half way there, stretch in the isle and announce to you, that he is done; because he cannot take another minute of the long flight? Of course we wouldn’t like that. Well God is the same way. God expects us to finish, every job he gives to us. Let us begin today to enjoy the process of; completion.

What project has God given you, which has been set aside; and goes unfinished?

ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY.
