Courage.

NUMBERS 23:19

“God is not a man that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”

God loves adventure, have you noticed this? He loves loud lightening, and heavy rain. He likes diversity, and we can see that in the creation he has made. Different animals, birds, people, nations, cultures, food, seasonings, color, smiles and languages.

God does not want any of us to get bored here upon the earth, so he revs it up with stretching us. When he begins to stretch us, or grow us – pain comes. We scream because we enjoy our cozy little lives and nests. But God loves adventure, and we really need to get used to this.

He smiles as he is stretching us, and says “You’ll See.” We might have a thousand questions for him, and he always will ask, “What does my Word say?” You might shrug your shoulders and scream, “I don’t know!” He will then patiently wait for you to seek him, by seeking the Bible.

God wants us to know him, not just know about him. God wants to be your Father, not just some “mystery man.” God wants you to believe the Word, and walk on the water he alone made, with him.

You can count on God. He will always do, as he promises. He is not a man – he is God. He cannot lie and he longs for you to believe in him.

Embrace your journey today with God, he is waiting for you.
