Chosen.

DEUTERONOMY 14:2

“The Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.”

Chosen is the Hebrew word bachar, meaning – select.

Select in the Webster’s Dictionary means; to take by preference, from among others.

Peculiar in the Hebrew language is the word cÄ•gullah – meaning; valued, private property.

Interesting, isn’t it?

God has taken us by his preference, to be his valued, treasured; private property and possession.

So many of us have been discarded in life, as if we were the garbage that needed to be “taken out and disposed of.” I am sure many of you can relate, in one degree or the other.

I am very glad and relieved that we do not find our worth, in the way we have been identified, labeled and treated by humanity. But we have our self-worth and self-esteem from God; the one who calls us; his very treasured, valued private property.

So hold your head up high tonight, and smile. You are greatly loved by Almighty God, and the one who died for you – Jesus Christ; and the one who leads you daily into all truth; your earth comforter – The very special Holy Ghost.

What titles and tags do you need to discard; that have been spoken against you and about you?

ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY.
