Adversity.

DEUTERONOMY 20:4

“For the Lord your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.”

Adversity is defined as; a state or instance of serious or continued difficulty or misfortune. Have you ever found yourself here within this land or territory? I have. Sometimes it seems there is one thing after another. The car might break down, then the washer, then the dog gets sick, and then here comes a flat tire, etc. It seems as if adversity; comes in cycles.

The good news is; adversity doesn’t last, it is not a final resting place for our lives. It is a temporary time zone that we are passing through, into a different season.

God has stated we would have tribulation on the earth, but he promises to always be with us through the misery, and bring us out into the place of victory with joy.

Doesn’t this sound good? So, if you have been in a time of affliction or discomfort, God promises to fight against those “enemies” and bring comfort and stability; within the very borders of your life.

Have a cup of tea, go for a walk and breathe in peace. This too – shall pass.

What are you going through now?

ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY.
